Baleia Vista Sul is situated adjacent to Baleia Vista on the beach. This tropical resort is set in an indigenous tropical coastal forest and consists of privately owned logwood houses and fifteen permanent tents. Tents are built onto a wooden decks and among them are one superior tent and three setups with two double tents - sharing a kitchenette. All tents are set far apart to ensure privacy.
There is a restaurant/bar complex, with DStv and a swimming pool, and the resort also has direct access to the beach. The restaurant serves brunch and dinner daily, except for Mondays out of season, when the restaurant is closed. Continental breakfasts are available and are delivered to the tent (mini-continental breakfast).
All the tents are luxuriously appointed and consist of an open plan living area, separate bathroom and patio. Every tent, be it a single, double or superior tent, has a refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and a separate bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. Bedding and towels are supplied. No swimming towels are supplied in the tents - please bring your own or hire swimming towels from reception. Please note that no braais (barbeques) are allowed at the tents. A boma with a thatched roof, electricity, equipped kitchen, tables, seating and a large braai area is available for braais and cooking. Tents are serviced daily.
Property Amenities
Single luxury tents and double luxury tents accommodate four people per tent (two 3/4 beds, one bunker bed). A self-catering basket with crockery and cutlery etc. to be used at the boma is supplied at a cost (a refundable deposit).
Double luxury tents are available for larger families or friends who want to stay close to each other. The double tents are similar to the standard tents regarding furniture and share a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, gas burners, kitchen utensils and two self-catering baskets. These are included in the daily rate for which a refundable deposit is payable.
The self-catering basket is included in the daily rate - a refundable deposit is payable upon arrival. Also included in the superior tent's rates are two dinners daily (except for Mondays, out of season, when the restaurant is closed.)
The brand new conference centre which can seat 22 people offers exciting conference packages. Exciting activities such as deep-sea fishing and quad-biking can be included in conference packages. Larger conference groups can be accommodated in the restaurant area.
