Ideally situated on the western banks of the lagoon in Bilene. You may be in Bilene, but you could just as well be on a remote island any where in the world. That is the impression Girassol Lodge offers, as it is only a 5 minute boat trip across the lagoon, (away from all the noise and tons of holiday makers).
The calm and clear waters of the lagoon gradually slope away from the white beach, one would think you could walk to the main land. And over the dunes behind the lodge, a leisurely 20 minute walk will lead you to the wide open waters of the sea or you can take the free boat trips.
