The road below Vilanculos toward Xai-Xai (a distance of +/- 90km is under repair. The road is nearly complete from South Africa to the resort. On some stretches you must drive with care but soon it will be complete and a high class road.
The distance from Nelsruit to Vilanculos is 910kms. Daily flights take place from Joburg to Vilanculos (twice daily during the peak season), and on Tuesdays and Fridays from Nelspruit to Vilanculos.
