Horizonte is approximately 490km north of Maputo and 35km south of the town of Inhambane on the coast. The road leading to the resort is a dirt road and only accessible with a 2x4 with difflock (not towing a trailor) or 4x4 vehicle. With an airport only 30km away and just outside Inhambane city, fly-ins and transfers can be arranged.
