Machapane Camp and Wilderness Trails Limpopo National Park

Destination: Limpopo National Park

Guided wilderness walks are a feature at our intimate 10 bed en-suite luxury tented camp that overlooks the Machampane River. Nestled in a secluded forest where bird and wildlife abound, you set out on foot on early morning and late afternoon game walks embracing the waterholes in this pristine wilderness area.

Replete from a three course ‘bush cuisine’ dinner with its Mozambiquan flavors, the boma and its friendly fire beckon you to experience the tranquility of the night sky and the sounds of the African bush.
Return to nature on this true bushveld experience.

Accommodation is in a remote unfenced rustic bush camp with two-man dome tents, camping mattresses and bush ablutions.
Awake at dawn, you set out on foot shortly after sunrise in the company of your guide and armed ranger following the river course or exploring the Lebombo plateau close to the boundary with Kruger. Located in an area that has been restocked with game in partnership with Kruger, you are almost certain to see the spoor of a variety of predators and have every prospect of encountering a wide array of wildlife.
Brunch is back at camp before a siesta and late afternoon walk in search of fresh signs of activity.
