The coastal strip, Costa del Sol, is a good place to pick up anything from a bright batik tablecloth to hand-made wicker furniture. The restaurants here overlook the sea and serve up magnificent Portuguese-style chicken and seafood dishes in the old Lourenco Marques tradition.

Day 1: Arrive Maputo
On arrival at Maputo Airport your will be met and transferred to your hotel. Experience the charm and mystique of the city of Maputo. Maputo is an attractive port, which still retains much of its Portuguese charm, with acacia and jacaranda tree-lined streets.
Day 2: Depart Maputo (B)
After breakfast transfer from your hotel to Maputo Airport, for your onward journey.
